After the completion of the 2025 St. Vincent Grammar School Inter House Athletics Championships, held jointly with the Girls’ High School, Under 17 athlete, Leemore Olivierre, walked away with 2 Carifta B standard qualifications.

On February 14th, he won the Intermediate Boys High Jump, with a jump of 1.85m equaling the B standard. Then a week later, he raced to a school record 22.02 in the 200m, going under the required 22.10 for the B standard, and just .02 seconds off the automatic qualification time of 22.00.

The next opportunity for Carifta qualifications, will the the 2025 Dr. Lennox Adams Carifta Trials, slated for March 1 & 2, at the Sir Vincent Beache National Stadium.
