NACAC U13 & U15 team selected
Team Athletics SVG has selected 4 athletes to represent St. Vincent & the Grenadines at the upcoming North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Under 13 & Under 15 Championships, to be held in Managua, Nicaragua.
The athletes were selected after winning their respective age groups, at the National Juvenile Championship held on April 11th & 12th.
The U13 athletes are Naailah Stevenson and Christian Duncan, while the U15 athletes are Ariel Stephens and Kingroy Hepburn.
For the Championships, the U13 athletes will compete in a 5 event Pentathlon, consisting of 60m, 800m (Girls)/1000m (Boys), Long Jump, High Jump, Baseball Throw.
The U15 athletes will do a 7 event Heptathlon of an 80 meter dash, 1000m (Girls)/1200m (Boys), 60m Hurdles (Girls)/80m Hurdles (Boys), Long Jump, High Jump, Baseball Throw and Shot Put.
The delegation, which includes Chester Morgan as coach, and Kelisha Yorke as manager, will leave the state on July 3rd, and return on July 7th.
