The use of the Sir Vincent Beache National Stadium has displayed performances that would only have been seen outside of SVG prior.

This year’s Inter Schools Athletic Championships (ISAC), was a highly anticipated event, albeit all schools did not take part. It is expected that the 2023 championships will exceed that of this year, and be even bigger.

As the local athletic product develops more and more, it is hoped that SVG will soon be at a point where we will be able to host regional meets, like the Carifta Games and CAC Championships, among others. However, for this to be a reality, one aspect of the sport that also needs developing is that of the technical officials. As it stands, employees of the Ministry of Sports execute the duties of technical officials and have been doing an outstanding job over the years. The one shortcoming, is that numbers provided are still inadequate for the execution of a high level championship.

To this end, TASVG is inviting persons who have a love for the sport, to apply to be trained as technical officials, to add to our cadre.
