2024 Round de Town Road Relay Results

In a thrilling 2024 Round De Town Road Relay, the Fitz Hughes Government School (Team 1) captured the girls' category, while Chateaubelair Methodist School won the boys'. The Secondary Schools division saw the Girls’ High School and Georgetown Secondary take home top honors, and Xcel Track Club claimed victory in the Male Open category. Read on for the full results.

The Fitz Hughes Government School and Chateaubelair Methodist School swapped their male and female top spots in this year’s Round De Town Road Relay.

Last year, CMS won the girls race, while FHGS won the boys. This year, FHGS (Team 1) took the girls category in 35 minutes, 28.92 seconds, with CMS finishing 2nd in 37:03.02 seconds, and FHGS (Team 2) taking the 3rd spot in 37:59.30 seconds.

In the boys’ category, CMS won in 28:43.12 seconds, with the Troumaca Government School finishing 2nd in 29:51.79 seconds and Tourama Government occupied the bronze position in 32:05.31 seconds.

In the Secondary Schools division, the top three spots in the girls’ category were the Girls’ High School winning in 43:54.80 seconds, second was the Central Leeward Secondary School in 45:00.21 seconds, and third went to the Georgetown Secondary School in 45:23.41 seconds.

Georgetown Secondary took the boys title in 31:03.66 seconds. Second place went to the Central Leeward Secondary in 31:48.34 seconds, and third was the St. Vincent Grammar School in 32:12.81 seconds.

The Open Female category resulted in IT DAT Academy finishing first in 36:35.78 seconds, High Performance in second in 38:43.57 and the Xceed Sports Club third, in 49:44.77. The Xcel Track Club won the Male Open category in 30:49.21. 2nd place was taken the Mustangs Track Club in 30:49.50 and Chatoyer finished 3rd in 31:21.81.
