Under its mandate to continue to develop the various disciplines in the sport of Athletics, Team Athletics SVG will be holding it’s first competitive event of the 2023 season, on Saturday, January 21^st, with the Throws Classic at the Sir Vincent Beache National Stadium. The event commences at 1:00 pm, and will see competition in the Baseball Throw, Discuss, Shot Put and Javelin.

The age groups include Under 9 and Under 11 doing the Baseball Throw

Under 13 – Baseball Throw and Shot Put

Under 15 – Baseball Throw, Shot Put and Discus

Under 17, Under 20, Open and Veterans – Shot Put, Discus and Javelin.

Clubs, Schools and individuals interested in taking part can register for the events here. The registration fee is $3.00 per athlete, and the deadline is Thursday, January 19^th.
